Drew Seeley is a Canadian actor, singer, and dancer who is best known as the singing voice of Troy Bolton in the 2006 TV movie High School Musical and for playing Joey Parker in the 2008 teen musical comedy film Another Cinderella Story. He has made cameo appearances in several popular TV series such as Dawson’s Creek (2002), One Tree Hill (2003-2004), and Glory Daze (2010-2011). Born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, he moved to the United States before hitting his teenage years as his family relocated to Florida.

He used to be a member of a boy band known as Nu Ground.

In 2005, he worked with producer Ray Cham and co-wrote the song Get’cha Head in the Game which was used in the 2006 TV movie High School Musical. Drew earned a Creative Arts Primetime Emmy nomination in the category of ‘Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics’.

His first single titled Breaking Free (2006) had peaked at number 4 on the US charts and had been certified ‘Gold’ by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America).
